Finding the right Attorney is similar to finding the right stylist/counselor. It’s always frustrating when you meet an attorney because they usually blow smoke at you to get your business (money). I am not going to lie, I was so skeptical at first because he is the 5th Attorney I’ve spoken with in Waco and the 3rd one I have hired. Let me tell you-you don’t always get what you pay for in this town. He is easy on your pocket and has a heart of gold. He put his whole heart into our case. It did not matter how much work he had to put into our case-he was able to fight for me to stand in front of the judge and speak for my son. Our end result of the hearing was better than my husband and I could have ever asked for. I just needed him to get me into the courtroom to be my son’s voice. Nobody wants to ever need a lawyer but sometimes you face inevitable situations. From the time I first walked into the office of Milam & Fanning I was met with professionalism, kindness and quickly put at ease. After the consultation with David, Jason and Jennings, I knew they were the ones to represent me and walk with me through the process of my divorce. I cannot thank David Fanning enough for what he was able to accomplish in just a matter of 2 days. I am from out of state and found him online. My granddaughter had been taken into the State's custody and I believed that she needed to be with family. This could have taken several months to come to fruition, but he made it happen during the first court appearance, just 2 days after I secured him as my attorney. He actually drew up new orders, on a legal pad, just before we appeared before the judge. She is now in my custody and will probably be with me for the rest of her life.
