The #1 thing I liked most about dealing with Milam and Fanning was how easy it was to access both Jason Milan and Alan Streetman for information and advice regarding the case. I could call or text them any reasonable time or day or on the weekend and usually get a response within an hour to a day. I never felt lost or without guidance. I sought out Jason Milam for my case based on the positive recommendation from friends. Once he understood the charges and got my version of events he quickly made me aware of the best possible approach to the case and the consequences I’d be facing by not taking said approach. After the deal was worked out with the DA, my case was turned over to Alan Streetman who ran me through all of the necessary paperwork and appearances seamlessly and kept me informed throughout the process. I have used this law firm twice now, I used David for my divorce and he was great! It was affordable and he got everything taken care of that I needed. Recently used Jason to handle a citation I recieved and he was able to work with the city attorney and get my charge dismissed. We have also used Jason to take care of a court case for my son. I'll be quite frank about my situation. Facing a DWI charge and filing for divorce, Jason Milam and Alan Streetman fought for me in every aspect they could. They were able to get my DWI reduced to a much lesser charge, and my divorce ended fairly even considering the circumstances. I will start off by saying the entire staff at the Milam and Fanning attorney office was such a pleasure to work with even under circumstances that were not pleasant. David worked intently for us & with us as he guided us through a divorce with our elderly father, which was something we never dreamed would happen at his age. Finding the right Attorney is similar to finding the right stylist/counselor. It’s always frustrating when you meet an attorney because they usually blow smoke at you to get your business (money). I am not going to lie, I was so skeptical at first because he is the 5th Attorney I’ve spoken with in Waco and the 3rd one I have hired. Let me tell you-you don’t always get what you pay for in this town. He is easy on your pocket and has a heart of gold. He put his whole heart into our case. It did not matter how much work he had to put into our case-he was able to fight for me to stand in front of the judge and speak for my son. Our end result of the hearing was better than my husband and I could have ever asked for. I just needed him to get me into the courtroom to be my son’s voice.
